Neem a.k.a. Indian honeybush, has been used for more than 2,000 years in Indian medicine, which is why it is called the cure for all diseases. The essence extracted from the plant was commonly used to heal wounds, or aid in the treatment of liver disease. Each part of the plant is used for a different purpose. The leaves as an antiseptic, the twigs as a toothbrush, the flowers as a remedy for indigestion.

 

 

USAGE:

  • when mixed with another cosmetic oil (sweet almond oil or apricot kernel oil), lotion or cream to moisturize severely dry or dehydrated skin, supportively in psoriasis, eczema and dandruff
  • for bathing: 5 – 7 drops of essence add to a bathtub with water, optimal bath time is 15 minutes
  • on hair (rubbing in)
  • for foot baths – as an antifungal agent
  • in combination with rosehip seed oil – to regenerate minor wounds
  • aromatherapy: add 5 to 8 drops of oil to water in an aroma fireplace or ultrasonic diffuser
